I'm sure everyone has noticed all the changes to our business Facebook page the last week. But we are proud to make the official announcement! Kristi has not only joined Mossy Oak Properties of Texas but has decided to claim our own territory. While property valuations are still holding strong there are signs that the market is starting to soften a bit in areas. If you are thinking about selling this is THE time to do so as values are likely to decrease or level out for the foreseeable future.
Keep in mind that January can be difficult to forecast from so we'll see what February and March have to say about all of this.
The latest statistics from the Texas Real Estate Commission for November 2018 shows a continuing trend upwards in Median Price, Closed Sales and Active listings in the Hood County area. Parker and Somvervell Counties are following a more tradition down turn in activity normally seen this time of year. This basically says the housing market in Hood County is still strong and increasing. Inventory is also slightly up which, along with the other statistics, says that builders are creating more inventory as well.
